The commission proposal was for a site specific water feature to be constructed in the central courtyard of Dorchester Hospital, Dorset.

 

Horsley used the natural slope in one corner of the courtyard, working with the existing courtyard design, excavating an area within the existing brickwork for a holding pool and building walls to support the mound.
