The Shila Shilp workshops, which run for 10 – 14 days in temporary and well equipped work sites, bring together up to 30 artisans at a time and from different parts of India, to work with Hamish and designer Siddhartha Das.

 

They both guide the artisans in developing and completing the new designs; prototypes that they can  later reproduce, to order, in their own workshops.  

 

These products range in style and size and are carved in a wide variety of stones. Pictured here are many of the products that Hamish has developed with the artisans.
