This sculpture reflects the artist's fascination with landscape and in particular, the interactions between the elements. The work contains natural symbols of form and change: mountains and rising water form at the centre, a plateau, eroded into intricate patterns stretches to an imaginary horizon, while the interaction between these elements are designed to create an environment containing both stillness and movement.
 
At the centre are three large Portland stone carvings set in a 2m diameter pool. Water flows over a low carved wall into a second pool and on through a series of Purbeck stone channels radiating from the centre. Small river stones in the pools and gullies create an ecosystem for water plants that are lit at night from below.
